Start your own honey bee colony with a healthy, established 5-frame nucleus colony.

Each nuc includes 5 full-depth wooden frames containing honey bees, with a queenright colony and a developing mix of brood, honey and pollen where established. These colonies are ideal for new beekeepers or existing beekeepers looking to strengthen their apiary.

Important information

Colonies are established from locally collected honey bee swarms and are sold once they have developed into a suitable 5-frame nuc. Colony strength, brood pattern and available stores can vary naturally.

The corflute nuc box is a temporary transport/holding box and remains the property of Clover House. Buyers will need to provide a suitable full-depth hive box for the colony to be transferred into, or arrange transfer with us. We can either add the bees to your full depth hive or leave the corflute nuc box with you so you can do it yourself, and we collect the corflute box later.
